The Rebuilding Wellbeing Friendship Group

Back to Support
Last Updated: 15/07/2024

We are dedicated to providing a space where people who have become isolated, lonely or unhappy can come along to enjoy refreshments and companionship with peers in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Provides a bright, friendly yet professional space for people to meet on a regular basis regular with peers.
  • Affording an opportunity to re-engage with others and the community at large; where some may feel they would like to help to use their own skill sets, gifts, and talents giving them ownership of the group its aims and values and a sense of purpose and worth.
  • Over refreshment cake and conversations, meet and make new friends and have fun.

This is a real asset for our Town for people to enjoy wellbeing and to help combat loneliness
