MAN v FAT is a men’s weight loss programme for men in Lincolnshire with a BMI over 27.5. The programme is focused on weight loss and building healthy lifestyle habits. Over 90% of players who sign up lose weight and improve their fitness, health and wellbeing.

Each week players will weigh in, play, lose weight and still win even if they didn’t win on the pitch. Total scores for fixtures include points for weight loss, food diary tracking and the on pitch result as well. Once players have joined they receive a welcome email and they can keep track of their membership and progress in The Dugout which is their exclusive members area. Players will also have access to exclusive recipes, webinars and the online MAN v FAT gym. Furthermore we offer support for your mental health and wellbeing with MAN v FAT Foundations app.

Through One You Lincolnshire funding there is a £9.99 registration fee to access the programme for 14 weeks and you can join either:

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Weight loss can reduce the risk of serious long term health conditions.
  • It's more about weight loss than football ability, Men can make new friends and increase their activity levels in a supportive environment,
  • We offer support for mental health through our MAN v FAT foundations access. Many members have reported feeling less lonely due to the community feel of the clubs.

MAN v FAT has been great! My fitness has improved, I’ve lost weight and have also made new friends. I’ve found the sessions very enjoyable and attending weekly sessions has helped to focus my mind on my diet and fitness.
