We provide a free Warm Space for anyone living in Fishtoft and their friends to meet for friendship and activities with tea, coffee and cake.
We meet every Tuesday morning between 9.30am and 13:00pm anyone living in Fishtoft and their friends can come along to Rochford Tower Hall and enjoy a morning of free activities and tea/coffee and cakes.
We have the occasional buffet with entertainment plus at least one annual outing.
We generally ask for a contribution towards the cost of a buffet with entertainment and any outings.
We also offer Mobility and Balance classes on Wednesday afternoons 14:00pm - 15:00pm which is free if we can obtain funding but otherwise we ask for a small contribution of £3 per session
This is good for wellbeing because
- Helps to resolve the problems of rural isolation.
- Wellbeing of an aging population.
- Brings the community together.
Since I moved up here 14 months ago I hadn't met anyone.
