Lincolnshire Council for Voluntary Youth Services (LCVYS) provides support, guidance and funding to voluntary youth services across Lincolnshire
LCVYS provides tailored support and guidance to member Youth Groups and their volunteers across the county.
Membership is affordable and LCVYS aims to support members with training, grant funding, advice and activities, along with networking and providing positive activities.
Membership starts at £22 per year for smaller groups.
LCVYS also has extensive online resources and a comprehensive programme of wellbeing and mental health for young people. (available free for members)
There is a cost but some resources/activities are free
This is good for wellbeing because
- LCVYS promotes well being in children and young people and has developed a comprehensive resource base to support this.
- LCVYS supports Youth Groups and Volunteers to follow best possible practice and are always there to answer questions and provide support.
- LCVYS provide basic training to empower Youth Workers and Volunteers.
