The Cedars Care Home offers free, community-centred services designed to bring people together. From "Don’t Dine Alone" for shared meals, to our Dementia Support Group and Mum & Tots sessions, we create welcoming spaces for seniors and young families.
Here's what’s On at Cedars Care Home – All Free of Charge!
- Don’t Dine Alone – Enjoy good food and great company on the last Monday of every month (except December, when we’re open every day!).
- Cedar Sprouts Mum & Tots Group – Fun and friendship for little ones and parents, every other Tuesday.
- Dementia Support Evening Group – A warm, understanding space on the third Thursday of each month, in partnership with Dementia Support South Lincs.
- Community Coffee Mornings – Join us every week for a cuppa and a chat.
- Monthly Community Events – From pet therapy to live music, there’s always something special happening!
All activities are completely free – everyone is welcome!
This is good for wellbeing because
- Provides vital connections to the community for our residents.
- Provides free, safe and warm space for members of the community to attend.
- Provides a variety of activities for people in our community who may be vulnerable or live alone to meet new people, promote friendships and to share joy.
I love coming here; after my wife died I was lost and didn't know what to do. Coffee mornings gave me purpose and something to look forward to (N, Volunteer)
