Boston United Walking Football Sessions

Back to Activities
Last Updated: 10/10/2024

Our recreational Walking Football sessions are held every week on Monday and Tuesday on the 3G at The Jakemans Community Stadium, Wyberton, Boston, Lincolnshire.

It is important to stay fit, active and healthy whatever your age.

As you get older, regular exercise and playing a physical game such as walking football can help you build and improve your strength, increase your core stability, help you to lose or maintain your weight and improve your muscles.

It can sometimes be hard to keep steady on your feet, but walking football can also help to improve your balance.

All of our coaches are fully qualified and have FA First Aid, DBS checked and have attended safeguarding workshops.

Our coaches are all fully qualified and hold FA or UEFA coaching qualifications.

Monday - for males and females aged 40 years and over.

Every Monday evening from 19:00pm to 20:00pm.

We also run walking football teams at various age groups.

If you would like more information or would like to join, please email [email protected].

There is a cost to attend at £5 per session.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Promote physical health
  • Build social connections
  • Improve mental health and well-being and increase connections to other services and support.
