Bridge Community Hub

The Hub houses the Bracebridge public library, a small café-style social space and a Foodbank distribution centre. The team are on hand to offer support/advice and signposting. Citizen's advice drop-in sessions run through the Foodbank.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • This is a friendly, warm and welcoming space open to all. Practical advice and support to enable people to take next steps toward wellbeing.
  • Free access to books for loan and online access through use of public computers helps to overcome literacy and digital poverty.
  • Basic needs are met if people hit a crisis, often leading to people volunteering to (and as) they become more resilient.

The great help I get from supportive friends happens in this always welcoming space.
