We are a Community Craft group who meet at Sleaford Library every Wednesday morning (term-time) 10:00am -12:00pm.
The group is open to anyone who would like to get out of the house and try a new craft!
All craft materials are provided, as well as a cup of tea and biscuits!
This is good for wellbeing because
- We focus on creating mindful crafts that help reduce anxiety and promote feel good hormones such as dopamine.
- Encourages learning new skills/crafts each week which boosts confidence and resilience.
- We offer a friendly, supportive group to provide connection to members and create friendships.
I absolutely love coming each week, the group are so friendly and I love the opportunity to be so creative! It has helped me get out of the house, meet other people and build my confidence!
