A warm, welcoming, safe space in Gainsborough, offering social activities, youth activities, support groups, community learning programmes, coffee mornings and much more in an all inclusive environment. Working closely with our community partners to deliver our activities.
We are a Community Hub that serve the whole community through our activities which include Coffee Mornings on Tuesdays between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
Youth Socials/Connexions 4 Youth on the First Saturday of every Month where we combine games and youth socials, offering participants and evening meal on the day too. They run between 17:00pm and 21:00pm.
Community learning programmes from Arts Awards to Functional Skills, Level 1, 2 and 3 Qualifications and ASDAN Short Courses in 1-2-1 or Small Group delivery. We offer both free and charged for courses. The set fee on chargeable courses is just £45:00 to £50:00 per participant (this simply covers our admin costs).
PSHE and Mental Health and Wellbeing Courses for Young people are offered free.
During Winter we offer a 'Warm Space', with a warm rail (clothes/coats/jumpers etc...) we also supply such items as scarves, gloves, socks and blankets. All available free to the community.
An all inclusive Performing Arts Club for ages 8 to adult.
We will soon be launching a Family Hub as well.
There is a cost but some resources/activities are free.
This is good for wellbeing because
- Our Activities are all Inclusive. Providing support and opportunities to everyone in our community.
- We provide support and for SEND Young People and Adults through our activities, which include our youth socials and open days and a Fun Club.
- Our Community Learning programmes are tailored to the individuals needs, and include, First Aid, Food Hygiene, CSCS Card, Preparing for work, Creative Arts, ASDAN Short Courses across the curriculum to support home schooled, NEET and even those who simply need to access to enrichment activities or support with Exams.
