Dance for Parkinson's is a creative and relaxed dance class in Sleaford for people living with Parkinson's disease, their family members and carers.

What will I learn?

This is a creative, relaxed and supportive dance class for people living with Parkinson’s, alongside family members and carers.
The session gently focuses on posture, strength, coordination and balance, helping you move with confidence and ease.
Classes begin seated, before moving into optional standing and travelling exercises later on. If you prefer, the entire session can be done seated, with adaptations offered throughout to suit everyone’s needs.

What does the session include?

First 45 minutes: Enjoy a guided dance session in a welcoming, pressure‑free environment
Last 30 minutes: Relax and socialise with refreshments in the studio

What should I bring?

Just come dressed in comfortable clothes you can move in (such as leggings or joggers, a t‑shirt and trainers).
Please bring a water bottle – refills are available at the Hub.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. All abilities are welcome and the class is shaped around the individual needs and comfort of participants.

About the artists/facilitators

Rebecca Cram has danced from a young age, training in ballet, tap, contemporary and street dance. She holds both an undergraduate degree and a master’s in dance from the University of Lincoln, teaching qualifications from the International Dance Teachers Association, and has been teaching across Lincolnshire for over 13 years.
Emily Luce trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and has over 15 years’ experience as a performer, teacher, creative practitioner and producer. She has been part of the Hub Dance Team since 2016.

Access information – the studio

On arrival, head to the shop reception, where a Visitor Experience Assistant will guide you
The studio is on the ground floor, well‑lit and temperature‑controlled
Toilets and two disabled toilets are close by on the same floor
You’re welcome to bring drinks into the studio
