There is a cost to attend - but there are some free resources.
This is good for wellbeing because
- Provides respite from day-to-day pressures or problems, allowing an escape.
- Like-minded members who have also faced their own issues or problems, who help provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
- The creative side of the hobby helps with mental stimulation and is relaxing, members of the group can help with supporting this.
Gobstyks is part of my coping mechanism, and without the support of the club and members I genuinely don’t think I could cope.
