Let's Get Together

Back to Activities
Last Updated: 07/11/2024

Let's Get Together is a friendship group that connects people through a range of activities including cooking, crafting, wellbeing and physical fitness.

Come and join us to learn something new, to upskill or to revive old interests.

Build supportive relationships, make positive choices and changes in your life.

We provide the Stepping Stones of support to give you those small social interactions that can have the biggest impact on your life.

We guarantee that everyone will receive a warm welcome at all of our sessions.

You will receive our support and be listened to as individuals.

Arrive as a stranger, leave as a friend.

All sessions are based at St Andrew's Church in the lovely village of Heckington, near Sleaford and Boston.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • We enable people to meet in a friendly, safe environment to connect through sharing an activity.
  • Our volunteers ensure that all people who attend our sessions are listened to and signposted to any other groups/services that may be beneficial to them.
  • We provide activities for a wide range of interests and are always happy to listen to participants ideas and suggestions.

Before I attended Let's Get Together I hadn't managed to meet anyone although I had lived in the village for 5 years.

I particularly enjoy how the sessions are interactive and I felt that I had given something to the session as well as meeting lots of new people.
