Open access youth centre for young people in Mablethorpe aged 8 -18 in a safe and welcoming space providing engaging, open, and fun activities for every young person under the supervision of qualified staff.
This is good for wellbeing because
- Better health, social, and educational outcomes
- A sense of identity: young people can develop a sense of identity by being an active participant in a group
- Health and fitness: Young People will be encouraged to adopt a healthier lifestyle with exercise, healthy eating and education around substance misuse.
- Teamwork: Young People can learn the ability to work as part of a team.
- Transferable Skills/qualifications : Young people can acquire specific skills and qualifications such as access to sport, cooking, problem solving and building positive relationships with their peers. Which will not only help them within the club setting but will stay with them and help in other areas of their life such as further education and employment.
