Men’s Shed is a relaxed space for men to meet, chat, and enjoy a hot drink and biscuit. Get involved in DIY and community projects or just drop in for some friendly company. No pressure — just good conversation and connection.
Men’s Shed – Where Skills and Friendship Grow
Join us Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2–4pm — no booking needed! After your first visit, we ask for a £1 weekly donation for refreshments. Want to become a full member? It’s just £10 for the year.
The group (ages 19–86!) is currently building a shed, with plenty of chances to learn new skills, help with community repairs, or simply enjoy a chat.
There’s a green space to develop, indoor hall for smaller projects and board games, and always a warm welcome.
This is good for wellbeing because
- A man can chat and spend time with other men, developing or renewing skills , with a view on supporting the local community.
- This group is a supportive space, there is always a listening ear.
- Friendship, hot drinks , banter, the men have a variety of skills and are looking for members that are willing to pass on to the next generation.
After my wife and friends died, I had nothing, I now have a group of mates that I laugh, have a coffee with. They have helped me come to life
