Last Updated: 01/03/2024

Support at wellbeing sessions. Interactive sessions that start with a presentation followed by interactive discussions. There is a pre-planned list of topics that are deemed to have the most relevance to our patients' wellbeing.

Walking Club, led by trained walk leaders on pre recce’d routes of up to 90mins in and around the local area. Routes are designed to suit different abilities/fitness of the walkers taking part.

Yoga and Laughter Therapy, Gentle yoga exercise - either on chairs or mats provided. Followed by a short session of laughter (belly laughter), Ends with chatting and relationship building over tea/coffee/biscuits.

MH Counselling Sessions. Individual sessions with trained advisor in a safe, face to face environment.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • It provides a friendly and structured resource to encourage individuals to take more exercise.
  • It helps develop networks of new friends/carers both on the walk and over tea/coffee/biscuits at the end of a session.
