Weekly group walk and talk sessions in nature facilitated by a qualified counsellor who is also a qualified herbalist.

The walk is located at Hartsholme Country Park, every Tuesday at 1030am – 1230pm. Please book your place here.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Meeting new people, creating friendships and sustainable support networks.
    Participation in free gentle physical exercise. Engaging in simple breathing exercises which can help reduce anxiety.
    Develop in a greater awareness of being mindful.
    Connecting with our community, feeling of self-worth.
  • Raising awareness of our natural world.
    Learning new skills; noticing (and possibly identifying) common plants, birds, butterflies, bees and insects, and helping to look more closely at the world around us.
    Using and developing our senses; sight, smell, touch and hearing (sometimes taste).
  • Developing self awareness through our sense of self.
    People will continue to meet and walk/create friendships beyond our sessions.
    Improved mental and physical health.
    Increased confidence to try other new activities or hobbies and meet new people.
