Sapphire Strolls is a walking group in Bourne, Lincolnshire. Join us for a gentle stroll, have a chat along the way, and maybe even learn something new about the area from our wonderful walk leaders.

The walking group meets in Bourne and is ideal for people who would like to slowly increase their activity levels - it's an amble, not a ramble - and get to make lovely new friends along the way.

We meet every Thursday at Bourne Bus Station, with a set off time of 1:30pm.

After the walk, we stop off at the welcoming Ginger Fox Cafe, for a well earned cuppa and a chat.

The group is free to join, you just purchase your own refreshments at the cafe.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Gently improves your fitness
  • Boosts your mood & confidence, as well as improving your balance and stamina
  • Get to meet new, supportive and friendly people

I was a bit lost after my wife died, and I'm not someone to go to a big group. My daughter told me about the Sapphire strolls, and I haven't looked back. I've made new friends, who I meet with regularly outside of the walks, get to see so many friendly faces each week, and I've improved my fitness. The walk leaders are very friendly and helpful, and we always go a different route, so we get to see something new each time.
