Age UK have weekly walks across Lincolnshire, named Sapphire Strolls as it is our 65th Sapphire year of serving the older people in the county. They are primarily aimed at those over 50 who do no or very little exercise.

Our strolls are as follows:

First Friday of the month at The Arboretum, Lincoln. Meeting at 1.30pm at the main gates near the park’s café for a stroll then a drink and chat at the café.

Second Friday of the month at Boultham Park, Lincoln. Meeting at 1.30pm at the gates near the Coop for a walk round the park finishing at Smith’s Tearoom for a chat over a drink.

Third Friday of the month at Swan Holme Lakes, Lincoln. Meeting in The Swan Holme Inn Car Park on Doddington road for a walk around the lakes finishing at The Swan Holme Inn for refreshments and a chat.

Fourth Friday of the month starting at our Activity Centre at Park Street in Lincoln. Meeting at the reception at 1.30pm for a walk around the Brayford, finishing at our Eatery for a drink and chat.

Every Thursday afternoon at 1.30pm. Meeting at Bourne bus station for a walk around Bourne, Wellhead Park or Bourne Woods finishing at The Angel Hotel for a drink and chat.

We meet regardless of the weather and if it is too bad to walk we head straight to the café for a time of friendship over a cuppa.
