A group for people over 18 with SEND or additional needs. The group offers opportunities to engage in crafts, sports, gaming, socialising and digital skills.
This is good for wellbeing because
- It encourages socialising and interaction in a non-judgmental setting.
- It allows those in the group access to playing different sports, such as badminton, cricket and basketball.
- It encourages the group to engage with the local environment by taking part and taking ownership of projects, namely the sensory garden at the hub.
I like going to the group, as I can be myself (Ben).
