We are a very friendly small brass band that has been meeting together on an ad hoc basis since 2018. We now meet twice a month.
Players are drawn from local brass bands and they come along for extra rehearsals. Anyone can come along to have a listen to us in rehearsal for an hour or two. You may even have a go yourself and who knows you might be interested in learning to play. You may have heard us at various fetes and community events.
This is good for wellbeing because
- Music is well proven to increase wellbeing
- Being part of like minded people who enjoy the togetherness of a music group
- Improving your confidence in meeting new people and maybe performing in front of an audience.
Doesn’t matter if you have no musical background or ability, this band will always make you welcome.
