We are a local theatre company based here in South Holland. As well theatre performances ,twice a year, we have music hall group and also our very own brass band (the only theatre company in the in the UK to have its own band for fundraising).
We also offer informal play readings and would welcome anybody that would like to be involved in set building and any backstage help. Also anyone handy with a needle and thread to assist with wardrobe dept.
This is good for wellbeing because
- Chance to meet up with others in an informal setting. Particularly play readings.
- A chance to learn new skills
- Gain confidence in everyday life
Being a part of this lively group encourages me a chance to get out for a few hours and to "step out of myself” for a while
