Stamford Women’s Institute brings women of all ages together for learning, friendship, and fun. From inspiring activities to community connections, we offer a safe and welcoming space to share, grow, and enjoy new experiences.

Stamford WI meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm, offering an inspiring guest speaker, delicious homemade cake, friendly chats, and updates on WI campaigns and women’s issues.

Alongside our main meetings, members can enjoy a variety of free sub-groups included in the pro-rata annual membership fee:

  • Book Club
  • Walking Group
  • Creative Craft Group
  • Allotment Group
  • Popular Supper Club – dining out at local restaurants together

We also take part in community events like VE Day celebrations, Stamford Christmas Market, and host our own activities throughout the year.
Our group is warm and welcoming, with meet-and-greeters ready to support new members and visitors.

No booking needed for monthly meetings – just come along for a relaxed, social evening with something for everyone!

This is good for wellbeing because
