We are an all-inclusive amateur dramatics group where everyone is welcome to come along and have fun whilst learning new skills and making new friends.
You do not have to be `on stage`, many of our members simply come along for a cuppa and a cake (or two) whilst supporting the group with our many activities. Our aim is to bring performing arts to the wider local community, and we stage yearly pantomime productions, one-act plays and various events/workshops out in the community.
Our minimum age to join is 18 (or 14 with an actively involved parent or guardian) and annual membership is just £20 per annum (or £10 for student members).
We are a friendly, welcoming society who meet every Wednesday and Sunday evenings from 7:30pm - 10pm, why not come along and meet us!
This is good for wellbeing because
- We help to combat social isolation in our local area by providing regular meets where everyone is welcome
- We are an `all-inclusive` society
- We aim to take performing arts out into the local communities offering many `free-to-attend` events to entertain the people for little or no cost.
I have been actively involved with the Sutton Bridge Players for two years now and I can honestly say I have never had so much fun! They are an amazing group of people and the opportunities to learn new skills and make new friendships are fantastic. Everyone is welcome particularly those with no experience. I would thoroughly recommend joining!
