Tackle it! This programme is aimed at adult men only, the group is for men who suffer with low level mental health. The session is set up for men to come along within a social setting and take part in low level physical activity.
This will include pool, table tennis, indoor archery, indoor bowls, basketball and much more. Teas and Coffees are provided.
Tuesdays 6-8pm FREE
This is good for wellbeing because
- Tackle It programme is good for wellbeing as it allows men to come into a social environment and engage with other guys. Maybe someone has had a bad day at work and just needs to see a friendly face or let of some steam or chill out i.e. play table tennis or a game of pool.
- Tackle It programme is good for wellbeing as it encourages positive mental health through exercise which is our indoor games or talking through your issues with others.
- Tackle It programme is good for wellbeing as it improves peoples confidence and self esteem through engagement and sporting activities and the willingness to try new things.
I am so pleased I popped in to see what Tackle It is all about, to be honest it was great fun and I forgot how much I missed playing table tennis. Others were very pleasant and welcoming to the group which was nice, i would highly recommend to anyone.
