Tai Chi Qi Gong

Last Updated: 28/01/2025

Gentle movement promoting relaxation, strength and balance seated or standing.

Tai Chi Qi Gong is a moving meditation practice. It requires no special equipment and is accessible to all abilities.

Forms are taught that are easy for class members to learn and practice at home.

It is particularly beneficial for older people or those living with long-term health challenges, the measurable benefit can be seen after 12 weeks.

There is a cost but some resources/activities are free.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Feel more grounded and relaxed
  • Help your balance and flexibility even if you are practising a seated form
  • Learn strategies to help you with specific situations; like poor sleep or fatigue.

I used to do the whole class seated, now I can do some of it standing.
