Last Updated: 19/07/2024

The Askefield Experience is a full day of activity on a Thursday from 9.30am-3.30pm.

You can take part in our Gardening Club which is on all day in our growing area, with our 72ft polytunnel, nature pond, allotment beds, orchard and developing sensory garden.

There is also a Farm Club where you learn to feed the animals, look after sheep, goats, guinea pigs, Coco the cat, chickens, ducks, Wally the goose, Rory the pony and Boris the donkey.

Or there is Challenge Askefield, our craft coffee morning where you get the chance to create a masterpiece, whilst sitting in our cosy log cabin enjoying cake and coffee.

We have a small cafe open at lunchtime for you to purchase home made sausage rolls, pasties, salads and cakes before enjoying the afternoon's Gardening Club, Tool-shed in the barn where you can learn new skills or Askefield Extra in the log cabin.

This is where we have speakers from LDASS, the Coastguards and LIVES on the programme, learn about owls or try your hand at willow weaving, steel drums and Powertex.
