A Friday night youth club for KS4-KS5 teens to hangout and make friends in Grantham.
The Hangout takes place at at St Anne's Church, Harrowby Road, Grantham at 19:00pm - 21:00pm on Friday nights during term time.
We play group games, board games, consoles and a tuck bar of milkshakes, smoothies and sweet treats.
Towards the end of the evening, we gather for a group chat and a talk from a speaker.
It's fun, chill and free for all teens.
This is good for wellbeing because
- This is a place for teens to make friends and build relationships outside of their own schools.
- All our volunteers are DBS checked and undertake safeguarding training so this is a safe space for young people to share their struggles.
- This is a safe, social and fun space to keep teen from walking the streets on a Friday night.
I love that I've been here from the start of this group, all the leaders are cool and we play new games every week, the best one was when we played volley ball with a big inflatable.
