The Patchwork Community Singing Group
We sing for the sheer joy of it — no auditions, no pressure, just voices coming together in harmony and laughter!
Our songs are fun, themed, and full of heart. Whether you're a seasoned singer or just love to hum along, you're welcome here.
We meet at Nettleham Community Hub every Tuesday from 7pm to 8.15pm.
Expect homemade cake, warm drinks, and even warmer friendships. Everyone brings their own unique “patch” — together, we create something truly special.
Spaces are limited – make sure to book your spot!
This is good for wellbeing because
- Singing is scientifically proven to help with well being- it stimulates the vagus nerve which promotes a feel good factor.
- When we sing with others, our heart beat’s synchronise and we can be empowered to feel stronger. Plus our brains get a rest from thinking about other things.
- Meeting new friends. Connecting with others over a cuppa and cake.
I always leave feeling better than when I came in. I felt really tired tonight but it’s true, I now feel energised!
