Discover. Connect. Thrive. The Root Troop is for those who want to spend more time in the outdoors learning about nature, bushcraft skills, rewilding principles, and much more! It's a chance to get back to your roots and grow a community of wilder folks.
The Root Troop runs at our main site at Wood Enderby, Horncastle, and our sister site at Laughterton, Lincoln. We cover a wide and ever-growing range of topics for you to learn about and put into practice, including nature knowledge, survival skills, teamwork challenges, and mindful practices.
Outside of our weekly sessions, we will be planning adventure days, camping trips, and celebration events. Our troop leaders will guide you along the way, supporting you in achieving our core awards - that's right, you get badges!
Sessions last for 90 minutes, cost £2.50 per week and are capped at 20 participants. . Participants must be over 18 upon joining The Root Troop.
