Our Volunteer Centres offer lots of new and exciting volunteering opportunities which are being added to our database every day. You could be a befriender, treasurer, coach, wildlife or conservation volunteer…the possibilities are endless.

Our Volunteer Advisers are here to help and can support you to identify suitable roles within your local community and get started with volunteering activities that you will find enjoyable and interesting.

You can contact them by phone, or book in for a face to face appointment here.

You can also look at the opportunities we have available, here.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Volunteering is choosing to do something for the benefit of others, for your community or the environment, without being paid to do it. Volunteering is open to anyone, and can bring great personal rewards. We believe that everyone has a valuable contribution to make.
  • Volunteering is a great way to meet people, enjoy yourself, make a difference, fill some spare time and help people.
  • Volunteering is a great way to do something you’re passionate about, get involved in your local community, try something new and gain work experience.

A very helpful service, the team at the Volunteer Centre made me feel at ease and I found the right volunteering role for me.
