The Whist Club at Washingborough Village Hall offers a warm and inclusive space for card enthusiasts of all levels.

Meeting every Thursday from 1pm to 4pm, the club brings together friendly faces for an afternoon of classic whist, light-hearted conversation, and community spirit. Whether you're a seasoned player or just curious to give it a try, you'll be welcomed with open arms.

For those of you who don't know, Whist is a classic trick-taking card game that originated in England in the 18th century. It’s typically played by four players in two partnerships, using a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to win as many tricks as possible by playing the highest card in each round.

Since attending the Whist club I have made new friends and look forward to Thursdays.
