Anglian Water’s Priority Services Register (PSR) is a free service that offers extra help to customers who may need additional support. It’s designed for people with long-term illnesses, disabilities, or mobility, sight, hearing, or speech difficulties. It can also support customers going through temporary life changes, such as job loss, bereavement, divorce, recovery from treatment, or families with a baby under 12 months old.
One of the biggest benefits of joining the PSR is priority support during emergencies. If there is a water supply interruption, Anglian Water can provide practical help such as bottled water deliveries, and will contact registered customers first so they have time to prepare.
The register also improves communication and access, offering bills in large print, Braille, or audio formats, and support such as a “knock and wait” service for customers who need more time to answer the door. For added safety, customers can request password protection to help guard against bogus callers.
The PSR can also help with account management, allowing customers to nominate a trusted friend, family member, or carer to speak on their behalf.
Anglian Water also recognises the importance of mental health support, offering specialist assistance and flexible ways to communicate.
