Education and Training Offer 

Our courses on mental and physical health are available to all. This includes multi-sector managers and practitioners including health, housing, social care, education, criminal justice, call centre operators, private, voluntary and public sector workers and community groups or members. They will complement existing wellbeing programs or could be a start of developing a wellbeing/welfare structure.

Mental Health Awareness (4 hrs)

Mental Health First Aid Refresher (4 hrs) 

From the National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education and Training (NCSPET) and City and Guilds

Suicide First Aid Lite (4 hrs) 

Suicide First Aid Understanding Suicide Intervention (1 day) : The Understanding Suicide Intervention (USI) provides the opportunity to access the City and Guilds Unit 407 ‘Understanding Suicide Intervention’ that is part of the Diploma in Healthcare Support worth 6 points on National Qualifications Framework (NQF).  

Accredited Physical First Aid Courses through Qualsafe Awards

L2 Award in Adult Basic Life Support including CPR and use of a Defibrillator (4 hrs) 

L2 Award in Adult Basic Life Support including CPR and use of a Defibrillator and management of Anaphylaxis(4 hrs) 

L3 Award in Adult Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (1 day) 

L3 Award in Adult First Aid at Work (FAW) (3 days) 

L3 Award in Adult First Aid at Work Requalification (2 days) 

L3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (1 day) 

L3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (2 days)

Consultation and Support for Mental Health First Aiders 

(Optional) Consultation and Support for Mental Health First Aiders at 3 months and 6 months post training.
