Angel Talk is a welcoming and supportive space where carers from all backgrounds, including professional and family carers, can come together to share experiences, feel heard, and find encouragement from others who truly understand their journey.
A relaxed and welcoming check-in session where carers can introduce themselves and share recent experiences, challenges, or positive moments from their caring journey.
Angel Talk provides a safe and non-judgmental space where everyone feels heard, valued, and understood. It offers an opportunity for carers to exchange practical tips, advice, and encouragement, often finding comfort and reassurance from others who truly relate to their experiences.
The session also includes time for tea, coffee, and informal conversation, helping to build friendships, strengthen peer support, and reduce feelings of isolation.
Angel Talk takes place every last Thursday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
This is good for wellbeing because
- Reduces Isolation: Caring can often feel lonely and overwhelming. Meeting others who understand the journey helps carers feel less alone and more connected.
- Emotional Support and Stress Relief: Having a safe space to talk openly about challenges and feelings can reduce stress, ease emotional pressure, and improve overall mental wellbeing.
- Builds Confidence and Resilience: Sharing experiences, advice, and coping strategies empowers carers with practical tools and reassurance, helping them feel more confident and better supported in their role.
