Back to Support
Last Updated: 15/07/2024

Our community proposes a new ideology on how to nurture, grow and ultimately create a more harmonious and healthy society. The group has objectives to provide support for vulnerable and isolated people, help with interpretations and consultations.

We are working in collaboration with local communities, NHS, the public sector, media and individuals to promote equality and diversity and develop inclusive activities, cultural events and social clubs that help people with their mental health, wellbeing and integration.

Free to attend.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • we offer a range of services and activities to vulnerable community members, including social clubs, events, translations, interpretations, and free consultation sessions
  • we prioritise outreach efforts to individuals who have limited language skills, lack access to technology, or who face other barriers to accessing mental health services, GPs, job centres, etc.
  • we work closely with local organisations and community members to identify and connect with individuals who may have mental health and other issues, feel isolated or struggling.

I am happy when I can get support and information from the volunteers and translators who speak in my native language. I feel vulnerable because of my limited language skills. I am trying to learn the language, but I have to admit that my progress is very slow. I often need help with my phone calls and visits with my GP, filling in the forms, reaching local institutions, etc.
