We offer support in the form of our Happier Families service, which provides early intervention support to help children and their families to become more resilient, healthier and happier. We also have BRIC Outdoors, supporting children and young people to eat healthily.

Happier Families Lincolnshire provides early intervention support to help children and their families to become more resilient, healthier and happier with any issues that families may face.

BRIC Outdoors supports children and young people to eat more fruit and vegetables and their parents to have knowledge on how to cook from fresh and on small budgets.

It will also support children, young people and their families to become happy and confident to access community activity and services and their parents to feel more connected to the local community

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Providing support at an earlier level prevents families going into crisis and reduces the levels of stress on everyone in the family.
  • Families that are supported in the projects have reduced isolation, their confidence is built and they build peer-to-peer support.
  • Being outside and eating well is good for overall health and wellbeing, being able to manage budgets and have financial resilience reduces stress and has a lasting impact across the generations.

BRIC has been there in a way that no one else has, they have made such a difference to our family.

Just knowing they were coming every Wednesday kept me going through the week, they were someone to talk to.
