The Carers Cafe at Fenchurch House Care Home in Spalding is aimed at people caring for a loved one who is living with dementia. Everyone is welcome to come along to our support group to share your experience and know that you are not alone.
Held on the first Tuesday of each month from 10am to 11am the Carers Cafe at Fenchurch House Care Home in Spalding is aimed at people caring for a loved one who is living with dementia.
Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided.
This is good for wellbeing because
- It provides an opportunity for carers to receive peer to peer support from those in a similar situation.
- Staff at the care home can offer support and advice for those caring for people living with dementia ensuring that carers do not feel un-supported in their day to day caring duties.
- It offers companionship and aims to combat loneliness in those caring for people living with dementia.
