We have a trained Citizens Advice adviser based within Mindspace in Stamford two days per week. Members of the public are welcome to drop in during specific opening times to gain confidential, impartial advice from our adviser.
Pre-booked, longer appointments are also available as well as telephone advice if face-to-face is not possible. Our adviser can offer support for a range of topics including debt, benefits, energy, relationships and family, employment and housing.
Mindspace offers a warm, welcoming hub of support, and is a local charity committed to improving the wellbeing of the whole town, helping people to flourish.
This is good for wellbeing because
- We deliver free-of-charge, impartial advice to help you to improve or sustain your wellbeing. Appointments can run at the client's pace and the client is welcome to return if they have multiple issues they need to discuss.
- There is a practical element in the advice we offer, by helping to complete difficult forms, submit grant applications or offer support making telephone calls, our adviser can help relieve pressure on our clients from the problems they are facing.
- We offer a holistic approach to advice giving meaning we can signpost to specialist organisations when appropriate. We have good relationships with other organisations meaning we are often best placed to help ensure the client receives all the ongoing support they need.
