A Good Mood Café is a coffee morning type event, open to everyone and free to attend, with complimentary drinks and biscuits. They are designed to encourage people to get out and about in their community, meet new people, share wellbeing tips and talk about shared interests.
Good Mood Cafes are friendly spaces where folks can connect with other people. Our facilitators make sure that there is always a warm welcome and that everyone can get involved in the conversation. Our facilitators also have information about other local groups and activities.
Pinchbeck Community Hub & Library on Monday from 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm
The Old Copper Kettle on Monday from 2 pm - 3.30 pm.
Market Deeping Library on Wednesday from 10.30 am to 12.00 pm.
Whaplode Drove Church Room on Thursday from 2 pm-3.30 pm
Boxes of Hope Community Hub on Thursday from 10 am-12 pm and 6 pm-8 pm
Crowland Community Hub on Wednesday from 12.15 pm to 1.45 pm.
Holbeach Hub (opposite Jewsons) on Thursday from 10 am - 12 noon.
This is good for wellbeing because
- Connecting with other people is good for wellbeing.
- Our facilitator will make sure that everyone feels welcome and can join in with the conversation if they wish to.
- There is information available about other local groups and activities.
The conversation was eclectic; it was nice to open up and just chat to new people. I can’t come every week but will definitely come again when I can.
