Last Updated: 15/07/2024

Kooth.com is an online mental health and wellbeing service, available to all children and young people aged 11-18 (up to 25 for care leavers) across Lincolnshire.

Kooth offers immediate free, safe and anonymous support 365 days of the year. Young people can access self-help tools, community support and live text-based chats with a qualified practitioner.

There is no waiting list or criteria/threshold that young people need to meet - as soon as they sign up they have full access to Kooth.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Support is available immediately. Kooth has no waiting lists or thresholds to meet, so you can come and speak to us about whatever is on your mind.
  • Young people have full control over what support options they choose to access on Kooth and when they use it.
  • We have a big online judgement-free community of other young people using Kooth - read and write articles, engage in live forums and comment on discussion boards. Get advice, help others and share your story.

I feel safe talking about things with the Kooth counsellors. Being anonymous helps me to feel comfortable and it’s harder for me to open up to someone in person.
