Lincoln Foodbanks provide three-day emergency food parcels for local people in crisis. A referral can be made through one of our referral partners which include, schools, churches, support workers, council teams and NHS teams.
When you come to our Foodbank Centres you will be met with a warm smile, a cup of tea and a place to sit and chat (if that's what you would like).
This is good for wellbeing because
- It helps people in an initial crisis and provides food for those who might not have it.
- It creates a space for people to come and form connections and community.
- We also have Citizens Advice based in our distribution centres. This means that there is someone on hand to help and support with any additional issues that person might be facing.
