We strive to be an effective and supportive organisation providing meaningful work experience and training in a non-threatening environment for people with mental health illness, physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
To enable individuals to progress into work experience, employment or further training and education opportunities.
There is a cost to attend, however there are some free resources.
This is good for wellbeing because
- Work experience is good for your mental health and could lead to employment.
- Learning new skills is enjoyable and fun.
- Being part of a team builds your confidence and self esteem.
I never thought I would gain employment, but the skills I gained at Pelican Trust means I now have a job.
