Last Updated: 11/11/2024

A safe space with a focus around craft, for people who suffer from anxiety, depression and loneliness.

We offer the following:

  • Foodbank - which is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10.00am - 12.30pm at the access centre.
  • Traditional lunch and pudding on a Tuesday 10.00am - 2.00pm although come early to ensure we don’t run out.
  • Youth club on a Wednesday for 14-18 yr olds and Friday 10-13 yrs olds. 7.00pm - 8.30pm.  Both groups help and encourage youth reach their dreams and ambitions and also to help socialise and learn about different countries areas and cultures. Helping parents whose children have additional needs is also part of this groups purpose.
  • Parent and toddler group who come Friday 10.00am - 12.00pm and they have a brand new soft play area to explore. Soon to be equipped a sensory room for toddlers with sensory needs.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • It allows space to just be - there is no pressure to talk.
  • Craft workshops encourage a sense of well-being.
  • Encourages signposting to other service and prompts engagement before a problem escalates.

I was reluctant to join and and I just watched from a distance, but once I was encouraged to join in I felt so much better in myself.
