Safe Ground

Back to Support
Last Updated: 18/09/2025

Safe Ground is a new community-focused initiative from the Grantham-based National Grief Advice Service, offering dedicated support to those experiencing homelessness following loss.

A free weekly drop in session taking place every Wednesday from 1pm - 4pm. A chance to talk with other, meet with professionals, find out about what support is available all in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment.

Safe Ground is part of a wider mission at NGAS to walk alongside people through all forms of grief and loss — not just bereavement, but the loss of a home, a job, a relationship, or a sense of self. This group is not there to judge — it is a safe, welcoming space where individuals can come for a warm drink, a chat, a sense of community, and practical guidance on rebuilding their lives.
