The Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Clubs are a vital community where veterans come together to share stories, find support, and enjoy a hearty breakfast

The Sleaford Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club (AFVBC) is a dedicated community for veterans and serving members of the UK Armed Forces to connect, share experiences, and enjoy a Breakfast together.

It's part of the wider AFVBC network, which aims to provide support and a sense of belonging to veterans.

Purpose:
The club offers a welcoming space for veterans to connect, build camaraderie, and enjoy a social setting.

Meetings:
The club meets on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at (09:45am) The Barge & Bottle, Carre Street, Sleaford NG34 7TW

Ethos:
The club operates on the principle of "By Veterans For Veterans" and emphasizes mutual support and camaraderie.

Community:
The AFVBC network as a whole is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for veterans, offering peer support and a sense of belonging.

The Sleaford club meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month (09:45am) at The Barge & Bottle, Carre Street, Sleaford, NG34 7TW

Membership:
Open to veterans and serving members of all branches of the UK Armed Forces. (Free and Breakfast costs between £8.00 and £9.00 with unlimited coffee/Tea)

This is good for wellbeing because

  • Being amongst fellow Military personnel serving and veterans
  • Signposting to support services
  • A sense of belonging and camaraderie

I was not sure if this was my kind of thing initially and after visiting was made very welcome and the banter and friendship is the one thing I have missed since leaving the Military, I have found my new NAAFI and the Breakfast is excellent.
