Providing low cost food items for everyone - those living on a tight budget, those wanting to save money and those wanting to reduce food waste.
There is a cost to attend, but there are some free resources e.g. trial session, online tasters, Facebook community.
There is a £5.00 cost for annual membership for the Community Grocers itself, each shop is £7.00 (accessible 4 x times per week).
This is good for wellbeing because
- Helps reduce financial anxiety.
- It provides volunteering opportunities within the shop - connecting people into a team atmosphere.
- Gives a sense of belonging.
