South Holland Parish Voluntary Car Service (SHPVCS) operates a valued low-cost transport service for the community in the South Holland District of Lincolnshire.

Volunteer Driver Service

Our volunteer drivers help people get to health and wellbeing appointments safely and reliably.
We offer regular transport to hospitals across the region, including Boston, Spalding, Stamford, Grantham, King’s Lynn, Peterborough, Papworth, Cambridge, Lincoln and Nottingham, as well as other locations if needed.

Drivers can also take you to local services such as:

GP surgeries and medical centres
Dentists and opticians
Chiropodists and podiatrists
Physiotherapists and eye clinics
Day centres and care homes

Where a driver is available within your parish, we may also be able to support non-medical journeys.

How to book:
The service is coordinated by six local coordinators covering parishes across South Holland. To arrange transport, please contact your relevant coordinator directly.

Cost:

50p per mile for residents within participating parishes
60p per mile for residents outside the scheme
Minimum charge: £6
