Community Wellbeing Hub provide grass roots level mental health support. Hubs are led by Community Connectors who provide free, confidential support and advice and signpost you to other services in the local area.

MindSpace Stamford is a local charity committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of those with live, work and learn in Stamford.

We encourage conversations around mental health in our homes, businesses, and schools and offer a range of activities based on the 5 ways to wellbeing, that anyone can access (for free!) to encourage positive mental health and wellbeing.

Hubs are a great place to visit if you are experiencing mental health and wellbeing challenges, want to take up a new hobby or activity, or reduce loneliness and isolation.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • We use the NHS “5 Ways to Wellbeing” to host a range of different activities, all proven to improve wellbeing.
  • We promote connections which members can then take out into the community outside of MindSpace.
  • Taking part in relaxing, fun, and/or energising activities is a great boost for mood and wellbeing.

It's difficult to say how much MindSpace has meant to me over the past year. I’m not sure I would have gotten through it without the support and friends I’ve made at tea and chat.

I was by myself all over lockdown and felt very alone, but MindSpace was a lifeline for me. I went along to tea and chat and met others who helped me keep it all in perspective and I realised that I wasn’t alone all the time.
