Come along and join our group, where you can take part in organised activities such as arts and crafts, relaxation exercises, singing, and quizzes.

You can share a hobby, play a board game or dominoes, or just sit and relax.

Refreshments are available.

We also offer home visiting and telephone befriending, as well as visits to cafes, places of interest, mentoring, accompanying to appointments or groups.

Advice and information given at the group, on a visit or on the telephone. Leaflets and fliers given. Telephone numbers passed on. Support give to access help if required.

This is good for wellbeing because

  • It is a place of sanctuary and a place to focus on wellbeing, particularly for those struggling with their mental health. Providing company and social interaction for those who are isolated and lonely.
  • It enables people who are lonely to interact and engage socially, helping people cope better emotionally, increasing confidence and boosting mood and motivation.
  • It increases the support and help that an individual has for their wellbeing and mental health. This can often involve referring to someone who has a greater level of expertise and knowledge in the area that is required.
