Warm Welcome is a community café held in Spalding Baptist Church every Friday from 10.30am until 1.30pm. We serve hot and cold drinks, snacks, cakes and lunch all free of charge. We offer companionship and activities such as pool, table tennis and board games.
We also make donated clothing and toiletries available to those who need a hand. Many people who walk in through the doors come in alone, but they leave having made friends and they keep coming back.
This is good for wellbeing because

I was worried that because it is held in a church, it would be about getting people to come to church. Instead, I've felt accepted for who I am and welcome. I struggle with anxiety in social situations, but this is a safe and comfortable space
